Newborn in a convertible car seat? Have any of you had success with a newborn in either a Sunshine Kids Radian, Graco MyRide 65 or Britax Boulevard? I'm hoping to skip the infant bucket seat all together and just wear him while out and about. I am expecting a big baby (not because of an ultrasound or anything, just the fact that I was over nine and my boyfriend was over 10. Does that mean anything?). I plan on also using a stroller. I just plan to wear him for shorter outings when you'd otherwise use the car seat, like the grocery store. HELP Graco Nautilus users? I know that this is probably the simplest part of putting the Graco Nautilus together, but for some reason, I cannot find the elastic loops on the seat pad. In the manual, its the 5th instruction. Pull elastic loop on the seat pad through the vehicle belt guide on side of seat and attach to hook.. help me. :( I wasnt sure which category to put this in, so please forgive me if this is in the wrong one. what stroller would you recommend- I'm making a baby registry? I know this is the wrong section but nobody answered on the Parenting section. Is there a stroller that you really love that you would recommend to me that is under 300$ ? Some info about me- I am 54 so don't want something too big. I don't jog, and the sidewalks here are pretty smooth. It will be winter when I have the baby. I don;'t care about fashion- just functionality. Would you recommend a travel system or a separate stroller and car seat? Here are some that I looked at- what do you think of each of these? We own a Scion TC, and have a BABY...? I currently own a Scion TC. The back seats are roomy but not when there is a car seat involved. With Aubree's Graco Snugride car seat behind the passengers side, it makes it nearly impossible for an adult to ride comfortably in the front. Are we going to have the same problem (or worse) when she is moved to the convertible car seat? Yeah, Im thinking it's going to be a huge hassel. Im going to have to literally climb into the back seat to get her in and out of the car. That will make carjacking very easy, don't you think? Not that it happens around here (or it might, but it's not often)... but it's still very scary! Im going to talk to my Fiance tonight about possibly trading my car in on something more Baby-friendly! I know its early to worry, but his carseat weight limit is 22lbs. My question is this: when he outgrows his current carseat, will I have to buy a new seat and base? Or can I still use the base I have? (My thinking is maybe I can get a bigger carseat at a consignment shop or craigslist). Also, if you had to buy a whole new carseat, how much was it? Oh and the carseat we have now is graco, if that helps. Thank you!
