I said yes and said it would be good if we could do something after, maybe dinner so we can have a chance to talk. He said ok to that. But does he pay for that whole date? They say if woman offers to pay for part of a date that sets the tone for a relationship and with women being the bearers of children there is no such thing as a true 50/50 in a relationship since it is the woman's body who goes through pregnancy and most of the infant care. Thank you! I'm a Biochem/Molec Bio pre-med college sophomore with 2.7 GPA? Do I have time to raise GPA for MD school? I came into college with lots of APs and ended my first semester with a 3.32 GPA. I thought that was a good start. Two A's and Two B's, not terrible for getting used to being on my own and what not. Then the second semester of my freshman year, I had three very close people in my life die consecutively one right after the other. One near the beginning of spring semester, then one near spring break, and the last near exams. I was completely devastated and couldn't focus at all which blew my GPA to a 1.93 for that semester giving me a 2.5 cumulative GPA. I then took Organic Chem I and got a B- in the course which raised my cumulative to a 2.7. This semester it's been almost the same as last semester. Father was admitted to the ER for temporary paralysis due to multiple discs, 89 year old grandmother broke her hip and then had a heart attack and we didn't know if she'd live. My life's been in a bit of a hell-hole for the past academic year from Spring 2009- Fall 2009. Should I just give up on getting to medical school? What do I do? I mean I'm an independent tutor at my university and the local community in my college's city. I've been volunteering/shadowing since my second semester of my freshman year in Infant Care Unit (neonatology), Cardiothoracic surgery, Neurosurgery, Neurology, Intensive Care, Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, and Anesthesiology (this past summer it was Organic I and the hospital everyday of the week). I'm planning to begin research over this summer hopefully in organic medicinal chemistry so I can get some research along with my clinical experience. Yet with all of this, I'm beginning to feel hopeless. Help? does anyone know where i can get a care bears infant care seat?
