I lost the love of my life. Please please help.?
Last year, I went out with a girl for a year, who I was friends with for many years before. She was perfect 0 She was absolutely breathtakingly stunning, smart (she was a doctor), was the kindest most warm hearted person I've ever met in my life. All the guys crushed on her so you can imagine how happy I was when we started going out. The year I spent with her was the happiest year of my life and and there was not one single thing wrong with her - she was like a goddess. When I was younger, my parents neglected me and I had a very unhappy upbringing, but she was the first person in my life that believed in me and truly loved me and gave me confidence I never had before. But then I started a new job and sat beside another woman. My girlfriend went away to visit her mother for a month in Canada, and while she was away I started to develop feelings for my coworker. She was nowhere near as perfect as my girlfriend I just seemed to go with her since my girlfriend was away, and I suppose out of sight. I dont know what was going through my mind. Before my girlfriend returned, i did the most stupid thing of my life. i packed up and eloped with my co worker to a different state, got a new phone number, new job and cut off all contact with my the girlfriend returning from canada and got my boss to tell her that i'd met someone else. i was too much of a coward to do it myself. me and my coworker soon feel apart and ive had a string of girlfriend since then, none of which have came anywhere near as perfect as my old girlfriend. i think about her everyday. she was the love of my life though i met her my old girlfriend) in a cafe yesterday when i was back home filling in some paperwork. she was kind and loving as usual and i told her that i know i was a jerk to her but i wanted to talk to her. she me that i could always talk to her but since she had to get back to work, she gave me a phone number to call her on that night. she also told me to phone before 11 because she was going out (with her new boyfriend) anyway, i never called. i dont know why. i guess i was just too much of a coward. please help. what should i do? ive well and truly screwed up

How do we help this kid?
I am dating a guy who has a three year old son. The child lives with the mother and the mother has more of a say-so as the primary guardian. My bf and I are concerned about possible developmental delays because the child isn't talking. In my few observations of the child, I think that the kid can benefit from speech therapy at the very least, and he agrees, but he says that the mother is in denial and throws a fit whenever he suggests that something might be wrong with their little boy. The mom will not listen to anybody, including professionals, who say that her child might have a problem....My bf is not listed as the child's father and he only has the child on weekends, so it's not like he can just pick up the child and go to a doctor or specialist or something... (the kid looks just like him, so paternity is not a question, but he can't exactly afford to take legal action to legitimize or anything else) So what can he do to get help for his child??

Discriminated Against - Can't Get a Job?
To make a long story short - my mother is holding off my college fund so I have to pay out of my own pocket for the 2nd year of school. I'm not allowed taking money out of my fund until I pick up my marks - I understand where she's coming from because she doesn't want me wasting my fund .. and I was slacking, I admit that. Here's the issue : Even before all of this I have been seriously looking for a job, going out at least once a week to every 2 weeks handing out resumes, meeting with managers, etc. I get the same thing EVERY time Oh, daddy won't hire you ? because almost everyone around where I live knows my father from his business. I don't blame my dad for being successful, but I hate how every one thinks we're super wealthy when really, we're having huge financial troubles and he can't afford to hire anyone else, not to mention he left the main company he was dealing with, because they were bought out by someone else and tried to change him into a corporate store (way less money in that for him) so we're trying to start up privately, and that's really hard. But like I said, people think we're super rich / I want to work for dad, etc. They don't get that I want to be independent and have my own job (although dad wants me to eventually be a manager at the store) and it's so degrading for a potential employer to say What, don't wanna work for daddy? or Daddy cut you off? - What business is that of theirs ? I even had potential employers say to other employees when I left Fat chance I'll hire her - she's a (lastname). A Rich b*tch who will just walk out when she's bored my friend who worked at a gas station I applied at told me the manager said that. I don't know what to do ? I get the same thing EVERYWHERE and I've applied at clothing stores, restaurants, fast food, any place that may need a receptionist, call centers, daycares, coffee shops, bookstores, you name it. And I get the same treatment.
