Whats the best age and way for my toddler to stop using nappies? Help with after birth question? Im due to give birth b4 christmas and wNted to stock up on essentiaks for about 4 wks how much do u think i will need eg. Nappies, wipes, milk etc... What is the difference (apart from price) between Pampers Baby Dry nappies Pampers New Baby nappies? The sizing appears to be the same, certainly from size 2 upwards anyway, but the ones that say New Baby one the pack cost more than the ones that say Baby Dry. Anyone got any idea why? Pre-school/Playgroup? My daughter turned two in June and is going to playgroup five days a week 12:30-3pm starting in September. On the 5th September we're going for our induction to meet the staff, take a tour and generally to share any questions and enquiries but I was wondering what exactly they do. Do they teach or is it just a social experience for toddlers? I did ask my health visitor but she was busy and pre-occupied and I can never get her on her telephone to enquire so I'm asking you lovely people. Do you have experience with UK playgroups and what they do? I know they have healthy snacks and no nap time in the short period and I'm expected to provide wet wipes, nappies if needed and a cup/sippy cup/bottle if required. I want a child so bad is it normal???? I am 12 years old and i am so desperate for a baby. I have 4 cousins under the age of three so i know what babies are like(the crying, nappies, loss of sleep) but i still really want a baby. I haven't got a boyfriend but i have even considered just havin sex with a random boy. I have begged my parents to adopt a child but my dad said no please help is this normal and how can i get a baby or please just tell me anything that could help thank you. which ones do you use,? Fall or Autumn Mom or Mum Diapers or Nappies Color or Colour Can anyone suggest a good place to find a reasonable list of items that you need to buy for your baby? I am due for my first baby in December, and although I am fine in knowing what key large items to buy e.g. cot, moses basket, car seat etc. I can't seem to find a list that details the smaller things that will need e.g. X number of vests; nappies, cotton wool etc. I don't want to leave anything out, and my general plan is to just buy little bits like this with my food shop each time and store it up to save the later cost. My 6 (nearly 7) month old daughter has been on antibiotics for 6 days for an ear infection, and since she started the course, her stools have been very dark (almost black) and very solid, like pellets. She doesn't seem in any pain, or have any difficulty passing the stools, and has about 3 nappies a day like this. Could this be because of the antibiotics? I am going on Holidays with my 19 month old daughter and this will be my first time travelling with baby.? These may all seem like silly questions but are playing on my mind so thought I would seek some advice from people who have been there. I am traveling with my 19 month old daughter in a few weeks to Ibiza. I know She is not given the luggage allowance but was wondering about her buggy. Is this checked in or brought on board with us. Is it to be included in our weight allowance. Also as she is still on Follow on Milk I am wondering can this along with Nappies, swim pants, wipes etc be purchased over there. My husband has been suffering from schizophrenia for about 3 years now. The symptoms included talking to himself incessantly, staring at you as if he was not there and not responding normally and not being able to sleep even though he lay down on our sofa a lot. He was eventually diagnosed and treated and he had 2-3 relapses because he failed to take his medication. He now get his medication via injection and I believe it's called Clopixol Depot. He continued to lay on the sofa almost all day for some time until I practically forced him to become more active. He improved there for a while, seemed more active and more like himself for about 3 weeks, but lately he has being talking more and more to himself. He insists and always has that he is not hearing any voices, although I have had my doubts at times after overhearing some of the conversation. It is difficult to make out as it is mainly mumbling. His doctors say that there has been no change in his medication and any change in our lifestyle or routine lately has been for the better. This is very stressful for me as I also have 2 children aged 3.5 and 1 to care for. He helps, but mainly with changing nappies and watching them for me if I have to do house chores. A few days ago when I asked him what was wrong, he said he felt anxious and on edge. That wa the first time since his illness that he has been able to give me a straight answer as to what's going on. He gets up many times a night and goes outside to have a cigarette and smokes it usually under a minute almost without taking a breathe in between. BTW, he only started smoking when he became ill, he says it relaxes him. I am a smoker and we were together 10 years before he took it up at a very late age. Seems senseless, but if it help him then I'm kinda OK with it. The self talk went from once a month, to once a week to once every two or three days and in the last week he is almost doing it as often as he was when he was first ill. Is this just a symptom of the medication? Can the right medication stop working after a while? Has he developed new symptoms? We have tracked down a number of hostels residence for Indigenous Children who are living in care and have just this weekend organised our first lot of gifts for a group of children that will never go home to their families. Our gifts consisted of school supplies, toiletries, sporting equip, nicnaks clothing....We have also tracked down a Womens Maternal Centre that provide accommodation for upto 12 families (soon to be 32) who need to travel from Remote parts of Northern QLD to have their babies in the cities hospital. We thought it would be nice to organise some gift baskets for these new expecting mums. SO... We are trying to track down some warehouses or wholesalers that may sell basic clothes, toiletries, nappies, dummies etc that we could do up a new born gift basket. ANY help would be greatly appreciated.....from what to put in these baskets, to where to find good quality with a cheap price tag. PLEASE HELP US!!
