Rate the writing? Flaws and all that?
Hn, this in an old story of mine I dug up, so I thought maybe I can get a few pointers on it. Be as harsh as you care to be. I have an urge to ask many of these on pieces of mine now. DX ----- It all started on a dark and stormy night. The wind tore at the forest, uprooting them with claws of anger. Leaves pounded by the wind whipped around, along with other bits of forest debris. The sky was ripped apart by storm clouds, pouring bullet-hard rain on the ruined area. The cries of dying animals formed a broken chorus of blood. Nah, just kidding. This isn't what happened at all. But I fooled you, didn't I? The REAL story actually began on a bright morning, with the birds chirping their songs, and the sun shedding rays of light on the scene. Perfectly innocent, no? But, you know, the most horrible things always start on the happiest of days, lurking in the cheerful Sun's shadow... Ah yes, introductions. I forgot. My name is Diala Glypin, and I'm what you would call an average person. Excluding the fact that my parents abandoned me at a young age- I don't have the faintest memories of them. But it just makes the truth easier to take. Besides that, there's nothing special about me. The one thing I live for is laughter- a speck of light in the darkness. Laughter causes all those twisted things to flee for a short while that is filled with bliss. This particular day, I was perched on a tree, cloud-watching. Not very interesting for many people, but I happen to love it. The clouds were all fluffy and soft-looking today, I noted. I grinned, my dark, oval eyes lighting up. These days always were joyful. The bell rang the tone for first period, and the school transformed into a sea of students rushing to their classes. Scampering from the tree, I blended in with the herd. Sighing, I plopped down into my seat. Our Science teacher, Mrs. Ched, had yet to arrive. But when she did, it was obvious something was wrong. Her normally calm face was set in stone, her eyes tinted with red. Had she been... crying? Soon after her, a policewomen glided into the classroom. All of our attention was riveted on her, and, more importantly, her hands. She was clutching the standard handcuffs police used on criminals. Why ever would she need that? A special lesson? I began to notice that while the rest of the people were still staring in shock at the women, our teacher's eyes seemed to linger on me. Finally, after a pause, she spoke, her voice smooth, not at all matching her jagged words. Diala Glypin, you are arrested. For the murder of Angeline Ched's husband. --- Hnn, not really my usual writing style. But oh well.

Advice on raising an 11 year old boy?
My husband's 11 year old son is coming shortly to live with us. I have zero experience on raising a boy, we have a 3 year old little girl. I would greatly appreciate any sound advice on raising this young boy. He is coming from a troubled home. My husband will be away at work most of the time leaving me to do most of the parenting and raising. I have no problem with this, I just want to give this young kid the best of a life that I can. I want to do the best that I can with him. I have read several materials on raising sons but nothing compares with the real life experience. I would appreciate advice from clothing, age appropriate chores, allowance, discipline, guidance, parenting, foods and so on. Thank you in advance.

My ex-husband promised me he would be there for my pregnancy but there is a new girl in the picture?
Im 25 he is 26 and she is 21. we were together 9 years married 6. as much as my heart ached we got divorced. We were living in different states when i found out i was having his baby since he at the time was in the military. he was supposedly excited about the baby and he promised that once he moved back ( he was finishing his military term) he would be there for me for the remainder of the pregnancy and be part of the experience. After much hesitation from my part, he convinced me that we should try to work out a friendship for the sake of the baby. he told me how he missed me, could not wait to see me, that he enjoyed talking to me because no one had so much with him in common than i did and he even even said that he was not talking to anyone and interested in anyone and although right now he was not trying to pursue a reconciliation with me that maybe one day that we never knew that we might be together again. i always pulled away for fear of a heartbreak and told him he had to be patient with me. The day after he arrives to the state I live in he tells me that he out of respect for me he wanted to let me know that he just got into a relationship with someone and that it was something that was not just a passing thing. I was devastated. The doctors appointments, the lunch meetings we had planned, the lamaze classes we arranged he said he would not go becuase he did not want me to go through anymore emotional pain which to me is an excuse. i found out through his siter that while he was talking to me he was already talking' to the other girl. she is her sister ex-best friend and her sister is fearful that there is a hidden agenda from her and that she does not understand why he is crazy about her that he has not been there for me and he is not speaking to her since she does not approve of their relationship. after him being with the girl for a month and not contacting me for that time, he emails me asking about how i was doing and my doctors appointments and that he still wants us to work on a freindship. i cant be friends with someone who cant put his child first so i did not respond. after a month with her, he claims that he is inlove with her and she is wonderful, moved in with her after a week getting with her all the while she still lives with her parents. i want to move on for the sake of my child and focus on the healthy development of my child, but as a woman i am hurt and am trying to understand why would he do this to me after everything him and i been through. his family does not approve of the situation and they say I was very good to him and dont know what happend. im 8 months pregnant now and i havent even gotten a pack of diapers from him. i cannot beleive how a man who used to treat me like a queen now has neglected me during this time. what is happening to him? do men tend to do this a lot to women? will he ever wake up and face the situation?

How do I break up with my boyfriend who thinks he's much better than me?
I'm 16 and my bf is 18 we have been dating 8 month but the thing is he thinks he's much better than me.. I have had a tough back ground first of all I'm biracial and he's white. i lost my father when I was 7 to a illness..and my mom became a widow at 17 and she's working as as a cleaner I barely speak to one of my sisters...and i was bullied in grade 7-8 because I'm biracial and I have still got a bit of a bad reputation and my boyfriend is normal and he has had a good back ground with both parents and lots of friends . I have got friends but not really close ones. and he always keeps telling me how lucky I am to be with him and that he could have any other girl I asked him why he isn't with another girl but he didn't answer we have had sex but that was after dating 2 month and we do it regularly and it' like he's ashamed of me he says ppl were asking him what he's doing with me...but he actually asked me out. and he can be really loving and nice at sometimes. but then mean and saying stuff like he's much better but I get along with his family...but i decided I want to end it with him but i don't know how I have been together with him so long. and I'm just so used to him company

Is it possible to install Starcraft-2 on two PCs?
Here is the question. I do have two PCs, one in my parents apartment and one in my own. Can I install the game on both PC and play from either of them using my BattleNet account so I can continuously progress in the compaign and always start from the last saved point? Just to clarify I want to play as using only one account but from two different PCs, is it possible? Or it allows play the game only from the PC the game was initially installed on?

my boyfriend of a year 1/2 wont take me out to dinner.. why?
so i've had the same boyfriend since february of 2009. we're in love, fight like people do, but at the end of the night we couldn't be happier. but im the only one with a job (him being 18, i being 16). he has never had a real job. and every time i ask him to do a call-back with an application he gets mad and tells me to stop talking about it and to get off his case... but anyway, his parents give him 20$ a week for almost nothing and claims he has no money, we barely go to the movies so i don't see how that's possible. he has NEVER asked me or taken me out to dinner whatsoever. this week i wanted to have alone time, go out to fridays after i got off work. not a big spending since they have the 12.99 menu so i did the math and for two people it would be 25.98. he has forty dollars and i offered to pay for the tip. he gets mad when i keep asking to get an answer to know if i make plans or not with friends he gets mad. hes very immature for his age. just recently got his PERMIT (at 18 he should be driving on his own) no job. hes a jock. and is constantly asking me to take days off from work to spend with him. i dont understand why he can't take me out...

where is the best resort to go to...?
We wanna go to barbados, st.maarten/st.martin, saint lucia, aruba, antigua and bahamas. So based on what you have heard or your own expierence or just whatever you know i would love to have your oppinion. Im 16 my sister is 19 her bf is 20 and our parents are down to earth and fun and like to do things. we like to do lots of activites aswell. so what would you reccomeendd?

Okay so basically i went on a journey to yorkshire for 5 days with my school 2 weeks ago from the monday to the friday we came back. on the thursday, we walked 3 and a half miles up and down hill and after wards we ate our lunch without washing our hands. well i realized the next day, there was a bathroom in the nearby woods but i didn't know at the time so i ate my lunch. then we went to some boring castle thing but on our way back to the coach it started raining heavily and i had no rain coat or umbrella so we were walking in heavy rain for 20 minutes to the coach and went back to the hotel. the next morning i had a high temperature, sore throat, swollen glands and tonsils and sore muscles. that day we went to a museum and i was feeling awful. i didn't eat any lunch, it hurt too much to swallow. and then we went to a theme park. i went on 3 rides and spend the rest of the 2 and a half hours just sitting in the bathroom, trying to sleep. then we went back to the hotel and i was told to get some rest. i slept and missed dinner. the next day i was just as awful. i went to breakfast and didn't eat. on that day we headed home- a 4 and a half hour drive to London. i went home and then my parents took me to the doctor, he gave me antibiotics and i had them correctly and stuff when i got home- pills by the way. and by the next day i was feeling a lot better and the day after i was just like normal. but then my illness went on and off. one day, i was feeling great, the other my throat killed. so i was taken to the doctor yesterday, because i had a high temp the night before and she prescribed me some more antibiotics and told me to go get a blood test for glandular fever the next day which is today. But i felt a lot better today after taking paracetamol so wedidn'tt go for the blood test because i'm fine now. ( it was a walk in clinic for the blood test) is all of this okay? i'm 13 by the way. i feel fine so there is no reason for me to get the blood test. is there anything i can do to make sure i don't feel bad again tomorrow? thanks sorry its so long! i am just not sure! :( please help me. thank you.

I feel like i'm not pleasing my parents.?
I've always tried in school the best I could. I've always needed a extra help. I was put in L.D. classes as well. I'll be a Sophmore in college this year. I feel like i'm struggling. I don't get all the extra help like I did in High school. I feel like i've let my parents down is all. My older brother and sister have always done well in school. But, I feel like I'm doing just average. :(

i have kitten that is sick... help?
My kitten is suffering. My parents wont take her to a vet because she'll be just fine. im doing all the i can to help her... She wont eat. She barely drinks water... She threw up only once. and she cant move. Yesterday she was kind of walking wierd and today she cant walk at all. She cant even lift up her head.... is there anything i can do?

Should the sins of the parents be extended to their children?
A few minutes ago I asked the question what do we do with the babies born in the U.S. to illegal parents, and I got a lot of answers that said send them back with their parents. But these children are American citizens and have done nothing. why should they be held accountable for decisions their parents made? if your father commits a crime should you be tossed in jail along with him?

Rescue Dog won't go downstairs in the morning without me even though I leave the bedroom door open?
I have a 15 month German shepherd bitch. I got her at 10 months old. She had been badly treated for 9 months of her life by a family of 4. They beat her and starved her. I got her at almost 11 months old after going into kennels at 10 months. She was a very timid, nervy dog, cowered and wet at sudden movements, noises, terrified of males. I live with my parents and brother. It took my dog months to trust my dad and my brother. Occassionaly she still cowers and wets when they call her to them. I suspect as it takes people time to overcome memories of bad treatment it will take time for the dog too. My dad and brother play with her, give her lots of fuss. My mum takes turns at feeding her. Despite the progress made, my dog will not go downstairs in the morning without me, so other family members can let her out to the toilet. Should I start putting my dog downstairs to sleep rather than allowing her to sleep in my bedroom? Would this help her to feel safe on her own without me? I have made a lot progress with my dog since I got her, she had never been outside, was terrified of everything, I helped her to overcome this, if she sees males outside she cowers if they are in a group so I stand still near them to help her realise no harm will come to her. After a while she relaxes. I am the first person this dog bonded with and trusts 100%. I want her to feel safe without me. Any ideas, suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

Had this problem with FAFSA4Caster?
I can fill in almost all the questions but Section 4, the Student's Finances just is not clickable. Click next in Section 3 and it skips right over to Section 5. I've tried this in 2 browsers each in 2 different operating systems, and contacted FAFSA's tech support and they don't know why either. I don't see any questions about dependency that we can change the answer to, that wouldn't be completely wrong. (e.g. the student does not have children, her parents are not deceased, etc.)

Im not used to everybody being home?
My sister just got home from college last night and my mom and i just got back from our vacation. It just feels very weird to have everybody home. I was on the computer and asked my parents a question and they ignored me. I asked again with no answer. I got kinda mad and asked them why they were ignoring me. My dad gave me this look and i understood. He is annoyed by my speech impedement. I dont know what to do now. I want to spend a lot of time with my older sisters but i dont want to be the annoying little sister they cant get away from. Im feeling a little alone and i dont know what to do. Im afraid to go and tell them something because they just wont listen. I dont think im jealous, just a little confused. I feel like i cant find my footing. Please give me some advice! my feelings are also hurt because of my dad. he isnt the most sensitive man in the world.
