Famous UK portrait photograhers?
For my sixth form summer project I need to find an english photographer, but I want a portrait photographer, something like Imogen Cunninghams work. Any suggestions?

Can anyone tell me if there are individual portrait photographers in Dallas/Fort Worth that I can compare?
I know there is the actual Glamour Shots company EVERYWHERE... But I want to compare different photographer's work. When I search for an individual portrait photographer in google, ALL the photographers that come up specialize in weddings, maternity, babies, families, seniors, everything BUT what I need! And its not for modeling, my mom actually wants me to get it done. She has professional face shots of all her kids that are glam'ed up, and none of me, so she asked me to get it done for a DVD she is putting together of my life, so its not modeling, just for glam up face shots. Can anyone please give me some advice as to where to look, or how to find these photographers? Are they just not in my area? I moved here from southern california, and they were everywhere! I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area now and cant find any besides that Glamour Shots company. Thanks so much!

I was wondering if someone would like to proof read my letter of intent? Dear Sir or Madam, My name is Sabrina and I am writing to express my interest in your photography program that is offered in Art and Science at the University of Manitoba. My interest in Portrait Photography began during my final years at St Joseph High School. I have always loved taking pictures of family and friends during my spare time. My career goal is to become a portrait photographer taking pictures of family, and weddings in my own studio. That’s when I learned about the University of Manitoba Photography program in a career fair that was held in Winnipeg in my Grade 12 year. The program in particular caught my interest. I have gone to interview and job shadowed a few photographers learning how they pursued their career in portrait photography.
