My 4 month old puppy's tummy is making gurgling noises? Her poop has been a little soft and runny. We have been feeding her the same food but this morning when I took her out she had a regular poo, then she squated again and it was a little soft and runny. Should I take her to the vet asap? Also I just noticed her gums are bleeding slightly too but that may just be from teething if I'm not mistaken? Puppy has been eating kibbles with hair in it? My puppy is 6 months old, I bought him when he was 4 months and have been living with him for 2 months. I have fed him Ol' Roy's high performance dog food this whole time. Well, recently, he has been teething so i put his kibbles in water to soften them, then I noticed there were tiny black hairs in each of the kibbles! The kibbles are dark brown, so I never noticed for the whole 2 months I have fed him them. He never had trouble eating them so I didn't know. I am now planning to change the brand of food he will eat and I just want to know if he is going to be okay. And he is a maltese, please recommend which type of brand dog food I should give him, thankyou. 10 month old with fever? So for the past several days my 10 month old daughter has been running a temperature. (nothing above 100.3 or so). I took her to the doctor already and her pediatrician said that her ears are fine, her lungs sound good and there's no other problems. She said, It's probably just something viral. Call me if she gets worse. Well, she hasn't gotten worse but she's still running this slight temp. Yesterday she just cut a top tooth (finally!) and the second one is not far behind it. My son used to always get a fever and diarrhea when he's cut a tooth. I know they say there's no medical reason for teething kids to get fevers but my older kid did every single time. I can deal with the teething/temp/etc. My question is that we have a little kids birthday party on Saturday. I really get frustrated when people bring their sick kids to parties to infect everyone else. So I'm leaning towards staying home with her. However....she doesn't seem sick! Just teething and an elevated temp. I know, I know....why risk it. I'm asking for opinions because our friends who are throwing the party are very hey sure....bring her along no biggie as is my hubby. So if I'm to be the voice of reason (or agreement) I'd like some opinions on it. :) Should I take my baby to the doctor? My son is 7 months old. He has had a little bit of a cold and it seems to be getting worse. His temp has reached 100.1 but he is teething, so a fever is common. He isn't eating as good as he normally does and I can tell that he has chest congestion. He was pulling at his ears earlier, but has stopped now. Should I take him to the doctor or just keep an eye on him? I've been cleaning out his nose and using saline drops and baby Motrin as needed (with permission from his pediatrician). I just feel so bad because he's never sick and I can tell he is miserable. Crazy lip problem, please help me!? it started out as a small canker sore on my inner upper lip that was a little swollen after a put a new lip ring in. the lip ring in on the bottom lip but the jewel on the ring came in contact with the irritated area so i took it off right away. now, it is a week later and my lip is huge. yesterday the entire inside of my lip was raw sting and it is so painful. last night a jelly like scab formed over the area which helped it feel better. during the day today, the scab pulled apart and wore off. it is stinging and very inflamed. i also have another two canker sores in other parts of my mouth and the two bottom front teeth are sore like i am a teething baby. please help me. here is a picture of the scab like things this morning (its gross): https://www.me.com/ro/biancahollander/Galleries/100031/Horrible%20Lip%20Problem/web.jpg?ver=12803895270001 p.s. i am in france on vacation so i cant really get to a doctor lime?! are you trying to kill me? My son is 19 months old only has 8 teeth, when will he get the rest? * He was born 3 months early I wondered if he was teething slowly because of this, he's caught up in size development so far, jw if I should be worried? What should I put on my dog sitter notes? My best friend and her family are watching my 9 week (almost 10 week) old puppy and I'm not sure what to put on the notes for her. I know to put like how often to feed him, not to let him interact with any dogs on walks (cuz he doesn't have his rabies) and stuff about teething and potty training and what not. But i wanna make sure I get everything! I'm scared I'm gonna forget something important!! Help! Uhm, yeah it is necessary for me to leave because my family has been planning this vacation since last year. And, his vet actually does take puppies at any age for boarding, but we don't like boarding our dogs. And, To the two of you who say I can't take the puppy for a walk, actually I can. My vet said as long as you pick him up when you come across another dog and don't let him pick up anything. And this is not my first dog! I have an 8 year old dog who has never had any medical problems. And he got his first rabies shot already, so don't say you can't get it until 4 months. And if we have to take him to the pet store to get fitted for his harness and whatnot we do not let him on the floor at all. I know tons about dogs and YOU, someone who is behind a computer screen, should not be telling me how to care for my dogs. All I was asking is what to put on the notes! Not a whole lecture about how I'm not caring for him properly. 8 month old keeps sicking up?Recent thing? This is only recently and it doesn't matter if it's milk or solids, or how much he eats. Sometimes he won't sick up but he's sicking up a lot more than he was. He's also drinking less milk. Yesterday he ddn't sleep well, he woke up a lot in the night, but when I brought him into our own bed he slept okay. Apart from that he is acting completely normal -his normal cheerful self, and is moving around a lot and not showing any signs of not feeling well. Could the sicking up be down to teething? He has his 2 bottom teeth but I'm wondering if he might have another tooth coming in..?I have felt his gums and can't feel anymore teeth as yet. Thanks all He doesn't have a temperature, and I am not asking for advice whether to put him in our own bed or not. Thanks. clingy 5 month old baby? My little girl has recently become very clingy with me, it started about a week and a half ago and it is driving me insane! She cries if she cannot see me, even if Im in the same room and Im talking to her. She works herself into such a state where she is gasping for breath and is screeching! Ive tried so many ways to occupy her when I have to get on with things but nothing works, and she only sleeps for about 30 mins between feeds in the day but she does sleep all night. This is really making feel angry with her, and I know that its not really her fault, but it gets to a point where I feel like I want to lock her in a cupboard and leave her there! I hate feeling like this, I dread every day now because I know all she will do is cry and I cant get anything done around the house. Even the simplest task takes half a day to get done! I even thought she may be in some kind of pain (teething) but things like teething powders/gels and calpol have done nothing to stop her screaming. I really need some help because this is really starting to get to me and Im scared that I may end up hating my baby! Thanks and I hope I didn't ramble on too much! my 16 month daughter hates having her teeth brushed!? When my daughter starting getting her teeth through we started brushing her teeth, she loved it then. She used to giggle and we'd let her hold the brush and guide her. But for the last few months (since she was about 14months) she hates having her teeth brushed, she wriggles and cried until i've stopped! I brush her teeth in the morning after breakfast. I thought it might be teething but now she only has one set of molars left, and wont even let me touch her front teeth. I offer her her favourite teddy whilst i'm doing her teeth, this worked for a while but now that doesn't even work. I let her watch me brush my teeth also. Has anyone else had these problems with their toddler and how did you deal with it? This is my first child so bit new to this! Thanks in advance for any answers :) i use dentinox toothpaste, its the same toothpaste shes been using since she was 6 months. Also i don't brush to hard, ive always been soft, besides its hard to give them a scrub when she's wriggling all over the place! Help me please..!!!
